Add some sort of indicator and/or magnetic bump when the node handle aligns perfectly with the path?

I think this has been discussed before, but would it be possible to add some kind of indication and even a slight magnetic option when the node handle aligns perfectly with the path? maybe the handle changes color for a second and/or there's a small gentle magnetic lock?
